PAUL MASTERSON

Co-owner

Paul began cooking at Masterson's Food & Drink when he was 15 and began taking on management roles by the time he was 19. At 21 he enrolled in The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York. He graduated in 1987 and returned to run the family business' kitchen operations. In addition to his role as CEO at Masterson's, he also captains the CQ Princess Yacht at the family restaurant, Captain's Quarters Riverside Grille. Paul is a husband,  father of three, and a grandfather to four and loves riverfront living.

SUEANNA MASTERSON

Co-owner

Sueanna began bussing tables at the tender age of 11 in the Masterson's coffee shop. She worked her way through nearly every department of the restaurant before landing in the catering department as an event coordinator. Sueanna attended Assumption High School and the University of Louisville. Sueanna was voted Louisville's Most Admired Woman in Food & Entertainment in 2007 by Today's Woman Magazine. Sueanna was also the recipient of the NAWBO Epic Award, Woman Business Owner of the Year in 2013. She served on the Family Scholar House board from 2014-2018. Sueanna is a wife, mother of three, grandmother of one, avid traveler, average tennis player, and a serial house remodeler.

BRIAN MASTERSON

Co-owner

Following in the family tradition, Brian began his career at a young age as the "gum remover" where he took care of all the sticky situations under the dining tables. Through the years he worked in several areas of the business, finally landing in event coordination and became the Director of the Catering Department. Brian loves using his creative talents and enjoys working out every detail with each event. Brian has been married for 23 years and has three energetic boys who one day may carry on the family business with the next generation.

ANDREW MASTERSON

Co-owner

Andrew began working as a busboy and dishwasher at Masterson’s at the age of 12.   Andrew filled a variety of positions in the business while attending St. Xavier High School and The University of Louisville.  During college, Andrew developed and sold custom software systems for various restaurants and other businesses in the area, until the call of his own family business to fill a vital position came about.  Andrew’s business education lead him to a role of controller for 10 years before taking over the role of managing partner at Captain’s Quarters in 2003.  Andrew currently serves the role of CFO & CIO for Masterson’s Food & Drink, as well as Captain’s Quarters. Andrew is a husband, father of four, and an avid boater.
