After 73 years at our
1830 South Third Location, founded by Nicholas and Robbie Masterson, our
facility will close and relocate to a 50,000 sq. ft. facility at 1231
Lexington Rd. as an off-premise catering operation only.
The new 50,000 sq.
ft. facility provides increased preparation space and office space for
our ever-growing catering business and we are very excited about the new
operation.
We are so proud of
the tradition that our grandfather and grandmother, father and uncles
have created with the Third Street building. But Masterson's
Catering is much more than just bricks and mortar, it is a belief in
providing the highest quality food and beverage service at a reasonable
price. Our 73 years of existence is a testament to that
philosophy.
We want to thank the
5,000 employees that have worked at this location over the years and the
100,000+ customers that have called upon Masterson's for their food
service needs.
We look forward to
continuing the tradition and the story that our grandparents had started
so many years ago.

June, 2010 - Our new facility will be fully
operational by the end of July. We will host an open house in early
August for all to come and see!
April, 2010 - Masterson's purchases new 55,000 sq. ft. building to renovate and relocate its catering operations and corporate offices. More news to come soon!
November, 2009 - Masterson's announces plans to accept offer from a private developer to purchase its 72 year old Restaurant, Banquet & Conference Center on Third Street to make way for a new U of L
Dormitory. Anticipated relocation to take place in Fall of 2010.
July, 2009 - Masterson's Catering recognized as
"Best Of Louisville' in the "Catering" category. Sister company
Captain's Quarters, recognized as "Best of Louisville" in the "Outdoor
Dining" category. Thank You!
January, 2009 - Renovation of the York Room
completed. Our Sunday Brunch has a whole new look!
January, 2009 -Work
continues on the remodeled York Room. Expected completion date is
January 30th.
December, 2008 -After
35 years, Masterson's has closed the daily lunch buffet to utilize the
space for private meetings and events.
August, 2008 -Masterson's
awarded a 5 year contract to provide nearly 1,300 meals per day to KIPDA.
January, 2008 - Andrew Masterson recognized as
a finalist in the Restaurateur of the Year Award awarded by the Kentucky
Restaurant Association
June, 2007 - Sueanna Masterson recognized as
Today's Woman Magazine - Woman of the year

12/15/06 - Christmas Dinner Served By
Masterson's Filles Hearts & Stomachs of the local needy.
We would like to take all our volunteers & vendors who helped us help
the needy. Masterson's served over 500 homeless and needy from the
Salvation Army this past Christmas day. This is the third year for
the event and we appreciate all the support from our friends!
